RETURN POLICY

Refund & Returns Policy

At PHM Plant Services, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. This Refund & Returns Policy explains how you can return products, the conditions for doing so, and how refunds are processed.

1. Returns Eligibility

We accept returns on most standard items provided they meet the following conditions:

  • The return request is made within 14 calendar days of delivery

  • Items are unused, unopened, and in their original packaging

  • Proof of purchase (invoice or order confirmation) is provided

Note: Custom orders, special-order items, PPE (once opened), and consumables may not be eligible for return unless they are faulty or incorrectly supplied.

2. How to Return an Item

To initiate a return:

  1. Contact our customer service team at sales@phmplant.com or 01453 763532

  2. Include your order number, item(s) to return, and reason for return

  3. Wait for return authorization and instructions

  4. Return items using a tracked delivery service (at your own cost unless faulty)

We cannot accept responsibility for returned goods lost or damaged in transit without proof of delivery.

3. Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Goods

If your order arrives damaged, faulty, or incorrect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with:

  • Photos of the issue

  • Order reference and item details

We will arrange for a replacement, repair, or full refund, including return postage where applicable.

4. Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of the outcome. If approved:

  • Refunds will be issued via the original payment method

  • Refunds are typically processed within 5–10 working days

Original shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error or a product defect.

5. Exchanges

If you'd like to exchange an item (e.g., for a different size or type), please follow the return process and place a new order for the replacement item.

6. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not returnable unless faulty:

  • Opened or used PPE (e.g., gloves, masks, respirators)

  • Customised or special-order products

  • Perishable or hygiene-sensitive items

  • Goods damaged due to misuse or alteration

7. Business/Trade Account Returns

Returns from trade or business accounts are handled on a case-by-case basis and may be subject to a restocking fee (typically 15–25%) at our discretion.
